3-Day Scottish Highlands Tour

Milton Keynes – Lake District – Glasgow – Loch Lomond – Fort William – Edinburgh

Day 1 – Milton Keynes to Glasgow (via Lake District)

Your journey begins as we depart from Milton Keynes, with convenient local pick-up points before heading north.

As we travel towards the Lake District National Park, one of the UK’s most breath taking regions, you will enjoy scenic views of rolling mountains, picturesque villages, and tranquil lakes.

We continue through the heart of the Lakes, arriving at Lake Windermere, the largest natural lake in England. Here, you will enjoy a 45-minute boat cruise from Bowness-on-Windermere, taking in the stunning surroundings of mountain peaks and lakeside villages.

After your cruise, we continue our journey north-west, passing through Manchester before making a late afternoon stop at Gretna Green, a historic village famous for its romantic heritage.

We then continue onwards into Scotland, arriving in Glasgow in the evening.


Day 2 – Scottish Highlands Experience

Glasgow – Loch Lomond – Fort William – Glasgow

After breakfast, we travel towards the stunning Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.

On arrival at Loch Lomond, you will have the option to enjoy a scenic boat cruise, taking in panoramic views of the Highlands while relaxing with refreshments. Alternatively, you may explore the shoreline and enjoy the peaceful surroundings at your own pace.

We then continue along one of Scotland’s most scenic routes towards Fort William, stopping en route at the iconic Three Sisters of Glencoe viewpoint.

During the day, we also visit:

  • Commando Memorial – A historic monument dedicated to the British Commandos of World War II

After a full day exploring the Highlands, we return to Glasgow in the evening.


Day 3 – Glasgow to Milton Keynes (via Edinburgh)

After breakfast, we travel to Edinburgh, Scotland’s historic and picturesque capital.

On arrival in Edinburgh, we visit the iconic Edinburgh Castle, home to Scotland’s Crown Jewels and rich royal history. We then explore the historic Royal Mile.

Later in the day, we begin our return journey to Milton Keynes, with drop-offs at designated points along the route.
